Beyoncé delivered a spectacular 13-minute NFL halftime performance during the Ravens-Texans Christmas Day game at Houston's NRG Stadium, showcasing songs from her new Cowboy Carter album for the first time live.

Making a dramatic entrance on horseback, Beyoncé presented a diverse setlist including "16 Carriages," "Blackbird," "American Requiem," "Ya Ya," "Spaghetti/Riverdance," "Levii's Jeans," "Jolene," and "Texas Hold 'Em." The show featured special guests Post Malone, Shaboozey, Reyna Roberts, Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, and Tiera Kennedy, with her daughter Blue Ivy Carter joining for a dance performance.

The performance garnered mixed reactions from viewers. While many praised the production value and showmanship, others criticized the country music interpretations and felt the show wasn't appropriately festive for Christmas Day.

The show's finale featured Beyoncé elevated on a scaffold above the field, making a controversial finger-gun gesture as a "Bang" banner appeared below. This moment sparked debate on social media, as NFL players have previously faced penalties for similar gestures.

Netflix will stream the full performance, dubbed "Beyoncé Bowl," as a special later this week.
