Founded in 2022 by Frank Roskam, the Amsterdam-based platform leverages Solana blockchain technology to provide enhanced ticketing solutions focused on security, organization, and marketing. The platform currently handles approximately 40 events monthly, including Amsterdam nightclubs and festivals like Multigroove.

Key features of Celebratix include:

  • Improved ticket resale security
  • Better event organization tools
  • Enhanced marketing capabilities
  • In-app ticket purchase incentives

The funding round attracted notable investors:

  • Stockholm VC uBit
  • Taco Ketelaar (Creative Clicks founder)
  • Giedo van der Garde (Professional racing driver)
  • Denise Boekhoorn

Following its successful launch in Germany, Celebratix plans to expand into Scandinavia and the UK. CEO Frank Roskam believes the company is well-positioned to challenge established players like Ticketmaster by addressing ticket fraud issues and providing organizers with comprehensive sales and data control.

This investment comes amid significant activity in the ticketing sector:

  • Seat Unique secured multimillion-dollar funding
  • TickPick received $250 million
  • CTS Eventim acquired See Tickets for $314 million
  • Dice exploring potential sale worth hundreds of millions

The investment positions Celebratix to capitalize on the growing demand for blockchain-based ticketing solutions while expanding its presence in key European markets.
