Cardi B is currently signed to Atlantic Records, a major record label under Warner Music Group. She initially signed with the label in 2017, marking a significant milestone in her career after gaining popularity through social media and reality television.

The deal with Atlantic Records came after Cardi B's independent success with her mixtapes and her breakthrough single "Bodak Yellow," which became a massive hit. The record label played a crucial role in helping the track reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100, making her the first female rapper to achieve this feat with a solo track since Lauryn Hill in 1998.

Under Atlantic Records, Cardi B has released her debut studio album "Invasion of Privacy" in 2018, which earned her a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. This made her the first solo female rapper to win in this category.

Prior to Atlantic Records, Cardi B was briefly associated with KSR Group, an independent label that helped release some of her early mixtapes. However, her major commercial success and mainstream breakthrough came after signing with Atlantic.

In addition to her recording contract with Atlantic Records, Cardi B maintains a publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing, which manages the rights to her songwriting work.

Atlantic Records continues to be Cardi B's label home as of 2024, where she releases her music globally. The partnership has proven successful for both parties, resulting in multiple platinum-certified singles and albums, along with numerous industry accolades.

The label's roster also includes other prominent artists like Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, and Lizzo, placing Cardi B among some of the industry's biggest names. Through this partnership, she has established herself as one of the most successful commercial artists in contemporary hip-hop.
