This would have marked Anitta's third Coachella appearance, following her 2022 debut featuring Snoop Dogg and Saweetie, and her 2024 collaboration with Peso Pluma.
"I was really looking forward to being at Coachella this year, but due to unexpected personal reasons, I won't be able to perform," Anitta announced on X/Twitter. She expressed gratitude to the festival organizers for their understanding and continued support.
Recent Career Highlights:
- Performed with Kylie Minogue at Hyde Park
- Collaborated with Måneskin's Victoria De Angelis
- Featured on The Weeknd's "São Paulo" track and music video
Coachella 2025's remaining headliners include:
- Lady Gaga
- Travis Scott
- Post Malone
- Green Day
- Charli XCX
- Megan Thee Stallion
- Missy Elliott
- Blackpink's Lisa and Jennie
- FKA Twigs
- Beabadoobee
The festival's struggle to sell out both weekends suggests a potential decline in live music festival enthusiasm among fans.
