Diddy has filed a $100 million+ defamation lawsuit against NBCUniversal, Peacock, and Ample Entertainment over their documentary "Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy," which premiered on January 14th despite pre-release warnings from his legal team.

The lawsuit alleges that the documentary makes false and malicious accusations, including claims that Diddy was responsible for the deaths of Kimberly Porter, the Notorious B.I.G., Andre Harrell, and Heavy D. According to the legal filing, these individuals died of natural causes, with the exception of Biggie Smalls.

The complaint also addresses allegations that Diddy attempted to murder Al B. Sure!, who appears in the documentary. The suit clarifies that Al B. Sure!'s medical issues were related to complications from bariatric surgery, not attempted murder.

Additionally, the lawsuit challenges claims about alleged "Diddy tapes" and accusations of sex trafficking underage girls, which Diddy vehemently denies. This legal action follows a separate $50 million defamation suit against Courtney Burgess and attorney Ariel Mitchell for similar allegations.

A key concern raised in both lawsuits is that these allegations could potentially compromise Diddy's right to a fair trial in his upcoming May criminal case. The music mogul's legal team argues that NBCUniversal and other defendants are "maliciously perpetuating" false narratives that could cause irreparable harm to his reputation and legal standing.

The suit seeks damages exceeding $100 million for what Diddy's team describes as "fake news of the most damaging kind" that has caused significant distress to the music mogul, particularly regarding the deaths of his close associates.
