Diplo Revenge Porn Lawsuit Dropped After Judge Orders Accuser to Reveal Identity
A revenge porn lawsuit against DJ Diplo has been voluntarily dismissed after the court ruled that the anonymous accuser must reveal their identity. The dismissal was confirmed through a notice from the unnamed plaintiff's legal counsel, who dropped the case "in its entirety" without specifying the exact reasons.

The plaintiff had previously argued against revealing their identity, citing concerns about potential retaliation and privacy violations. The allegations, which dated back to 2016, were strongly denied by Diplo and had also been reported to the NYPD, though the status of any police investigation remains unclear.
This dismissal marks another legal victory for the 46-year-old producer, who recently settled a separate sexual assault lawsuit. That case, involving Shelly Auguste, included multiple legal twists and was scheduled for trial in January before reaching settlement.
Diplo had previously acknowledged having "a night of consensual sex" with Auguste while denying all assault allegations. A separate sexual assault lawsuit filed by an alleged friend of Auguste's was also withdrawn, with the plaintiff expressing "regret" after Diplo claimed to have found video evidence of the encounter.
While Diplo hasn't publicly commented on this latest dismissal, he has recently been involved in charitable work, helping raise over $160,000 for the Los Angeles Fire Department, and is scheduled to perform at several pre-Super Bowl events in New Orleans.
The resolution of these legal matters represents a significant turning point for the artist, who has maintained his innocence throughout the proceedings while continuing his professional career and philanthropic efforts.
