Composer Sebastien Graux claims his guitar loops were used without proper compensation or credit in Feid's songs "Ferxxo 100," "X20X," and "De Tanto Chimbiar." The lawsuit, filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of California, names Universal Music Group, Icon Music, and producers Sky Rompiendo and Jowan as co-defendants.
According to the complaint, Graux met with Feid's team at Icon Music in Colombia (September 2021) and later shared audio files with producer Jowan in Miami. Despite repeated assurances of proper credit and compensation, Graux alleges he received unfavorable terms and remains unpaid.
"Ferxxo 100," released in June 2022, has accumulated over 444 million Spotify streams and 245 million YouTube views. Two months after its release, Sky Rompiendo's company allegedly made what Graux describes as "one of the least favorable proposals" he had ever received.
Graux, whose work has been featured by artists like Don Toliver, NBA YoungBoy, and Ricky Martin, seeks:
- Compensatory or statutory damages
- Producer credit on all three songs
- Attorney fees compensation
Despite attempts to resolve the dispute outside of court, negotiations were unsuccessful, leading to the current legal action.
