Recently surfaced body cam footage reveals a tense confrontation between Ice-T and New Jersey police during a May traffic stop. The incident began when officers pulled over Ice-T's Porsche 911 for missing a front license plate.

The situation escalated when officers discovered his license and vehicle registration had expired in 2021. Ice-T explained he was actually en route to the Department of Motor Vehicles to resolve the issue, stating he had attempted to handle it the previous day but encountered problems.

When explaining the situation, Ice-T mentioned the Porsche had been parked since its registration expired and that he was in the process of updating registrations for all seven of his vehicles. The confrontation intensified when an officer suggested towing the vehicle, prompting Ice-T to become visibly agitated.

The Law & Order star refused to surrender his keys, stating "If I'm not under arrest, I'm getting out of the car." After exiting the vehicle, he pointed to the officer's bodycam, emphasizing his proximity to the DMV: "Get this on camera, I'm a foot away from the DMV."

The situation was ultimately resolved after a superior officer arrived on scene. Ice-T received four citations, including one for driving with a suspended license.
