During Super Bowl LVIII, Kanye West (Ye) aired a low-budget commercial filmed on an iPhone, promoting his website selling t-shirts featuring swastika imagery for $20. Initially offering various clothing items, the site quickly narrowed to only white t-shirts with black swastika designs.

This controversial move follows West's recent antisemitic statements on X (formerly Twitter), where he identified as a Nazi and praised Adolf Hitler. Shortly after the Super Bowl ad aired, West deactivated his X account, though it's unclear if this departure is permanent.

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) strongly condemned the action, with CEO Jonathan Greenblatt stating, "Let's call Ye's hate-filled public rant for what it really is: a sad attempt for attention that uses Jews as a scapegoat." Actor David Schwimmer and various Jewish advocacy groups urged X owner Elon Musk to suspend West's account before his self-imposed departure.

The ADL's official statement on X described the incident as "another egregious display of antisemitism, racism, and misogyny from Kanye West." As of publishing time, West's website remains active with the controversial merchandise still available for purchase.
