Kendrick Lamar's Controversial Hit 'Not Like Us' Reaches 1 Billion Spotify Streams Ahead of Super Bowl Show
Kendrick Lamar's hit track "Not Like Us" has surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, marking a significant milestone less than a year after its release. The achievement comes just days before Lamar's scheduled Super Bowl halftime performance.

The track, part of an ongoing musical feud with Drake, has garnered both commercial success and legal controversy. Universal Music Group (UMG) currently faces a defamation lawsuit from Drake, who alleges the label orchestrated a campaign to promote false allegations through the song.
Despite pressure to exclude "Not Like Us" from the Super Bowl performance, Lamar's team has confirmed the song will be part of the setlist. The NFL has even featured the track in their promotional materials, seemingly endorsing its inclusion.
In response to recent developments, Drake shared a message on Instagram focusing on his fans: "Love to all the 6'ers. Winter months are the toughest. Shit can be depressing, so take care of yourselves and try [to] show love to each other." He also teased an upcoming collaboration with PartyNextDoor, notably avoiding any mention of Lamar or the controversy.
The streaming milestone and impending Super Bowl performance have intensified attention on the ongoing dispute between the two artists, with UMG caught in the middle of the legal battle. Drake's initial petition included Spotify and iHeartRadio, though both companies were later removed as co-defendants when the case evolved into a formal lawsuit.
