Morgan Wallen Gets 7-Day DUI Center Sentence After Pleading Guilty to Nashville Chair Incident
Country music star Morgan Wallen has been sentenced to seven days at a DUI Education Center and two years' probation after pleading guilty to misdemeanor charges of reckless endangerment. The charges stem from an incident where he threw a chair from the rooftop of Chief's Bar in Nashville.

The 31-year-old singer received a "conditional guilty" plea through judicial diversion, meaning his charges could be dismissed and expunged upon successful completion of his probation. In addition to the education center time and probation, Wallen must pay a $350 fine plus court fees.
The incident occurred on April 7, when police officers witnessed a chair falling from the six-story establishment's rooftop. Wallen was subsequently charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.
Through his attorney Worrick Robinson IV, Wallen has shown full cooperation with authorities and expressed remorse for his actions. In a social media statement, Wallen acknowledged his behavior, saying, "I'm not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility."
Despite this legal trouble, Wallen's career continues to thrive, as evidenced by his recent win as Entertainer of the Year at the 2024 CMA Awards, though he was not present to accept the award.
