Music AI, creator of the Moises app, has secured $40 million in Series A funding led by Connect Ventures and monashees. The funding will advance ethical AI development in music technology.

The investment round included participation from Kickstart, Samsung Next, Toba Capital, Valutia, Pelion, and music industry professionals Freddy Wexler, 3LAU, and Alexander23.
Moises, the company's flagship product, has attracted over 50 million users globally and earned Apple's iPad App of the Year award in 2024. The platform offers AI-powered tools for musicians, producers, and content creators, focusing on practice, creation, and collaboration.
Since its 2019 launch, Music AI has developed several key technologies:
- High-quality stem separation
- Music Information Retrieval (MIR) solutions
- Chord recognition
- Key and beat detection
- Music transcription
- Generative solutions including singing voice modeling
The company emphasizes ethical AI development by:
- Using only fully licensed content
- Ensuring fair compensation for creators
- Implementing on-device AI processing for enhanced privacy
