
Music Legend Master P Takes Helm as Basketball Operations President at University of New Orleans
Percy "Master P" Miller has been appointed as President of Basketball Operations for the University of New Orleans men's basketball team, bringing his extensive basketball experience and community leadership to the role.

Miller, known primarily as a music mogul, has deep roots in basketball, having played at the collegiate level and coached for over 20 years. His AAU team, P. Miller's Ballers, achieved three national championships, and he has coached several NBA players including DeMar DeRozan, Brandon Jennings, Lance Stephenson, and Jalen Suggs.
Head men's basketball coach Stacy Hollowell praised Miller's appointment, highlighting his deep connection to New Orleans and his extensive basketball knowledge. The addition of Miller is expected to strengthen the program through his expertise and local relationships.
Miller expressed his personal connection to the sport, stating, "Basketball changed and saved my life." His vision extends beyond the court, focusing on creating opportunities for student-athletes both athletically and academically. As founder and chairman of Team Hope Foundation, Miller has demonstrated his commitment to community development through youth and elderly support programs.
