The plea agreement includes: - Two counts of third-degree felony identity fraud - Two counts of third-degree felony forgery - Six counts of misdemeanor unlawful pharmacy conduct - $25,000 fine - No additional prison time in Utah

Gaulden will serve 27 months in federal prison for related charges in Weber County, Utah, followed by five years of federal supervised probation. The charges were reduced from an initial 46 counts, with the four felony charges downgraded to Class A Misdemeanors.

The rapper has been under house arrest in Utah since 2021, following his alleged involvement in a 2019 Miami shooting. His legal team arranged the Utah relocation as part of a strategy to "keep YoungBoy out of trouble."

Judge Spencer Walsh expressed hope for Gaulden's rehabilitation, stating, "I've seen so many times where you have young men and women who have a lot of talent and potential. They can be robbed of that potential when they start to really struggle with their addictions."

Professional achievements of NBA YoungBoy include: - Four #1 albums on the Billboard 200 - One Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 - Grammy nomination in 2022 for "Wusyaname" with Tyler, The Creator and Ty Dolla $ign

State prosecutor Ronnie Keller noted this case represents "a smaller cog in the bigger wheel of ultimately seeking justice," as it involves multiple jurisdictions in both federal and state systems.
