NFL Maintains Partnership with Jay-Z Despite Sexual Assault Lawsuit
The NFL is maintaining its partnership with Jay-Z and Roc Nation despite recent rape allegations and ongoing litigation, according to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell's statement following the league's winter meetings.

The allegations emerged when an anonymous woman amended her lawsuit against Sean "Diddy" Combs to include Jay-Z (Shawn Carter) as a participant in her sexual assault at an awards show afterparty in 2000, when she was 13 years old. The lawsuit is part of attorney Tony Buzbee's broader case representing over 200 clients alleging sexual assault by Combs.
Carter has strongly denied these allegations, calling them "heinous in nature" and filing a countersuit against Buzbee. He's also requested the anonymous accuser reveal her identity to proceed with litigation.
The NFL's relationship with Carter's Roc Nation, which began in 2019, remains unchanged. The partnership covers event production, including the Super Bowl Halftime Show, and social activism initiatives. Roc Nation will produce the upcoming Super Bowl
