Olivia Rodrigo and Daniel Nigro Named Top Songwriters at 2024 ASCAP Pop Awards
ASCAP has announced its 2024 Pop Music Award winners, celebrating the most influential songwriters and publishers in pop music.
Olivia Rodrigo and Daniel Nigro earned Songwriters of the Year for their hits "vampire" and "bad idea right?", marking Rodrigo's second win since 2022.

Charli XCX received the Global Impact Award, recognizing her global musical influence. Her sixth album, BRAT, releases June 7, followed by a North American tour with Troye Sivan.
"Calm Down" by Rema featuring Selena Gomez won Pop Song of the Year. The track, co-written by Rema, Gomez, Michael Hunter, Amanda Ibanez, and Andre Vibez, dominated multiple Billboard charts and reached #3 on the Hot 100.
