Spinnin' Records Names WMG's Niels Walboomers as New Leader
Spinnin' Records, one of dance music's most influential labels, announces significant leadership changes as WMG's Niels Walboomers takes the helm. This transition follows the departure of Co-President Ewout Swart after his impressive 16-year tenure with the company.

Walboomers, currently serving as WMG's President of Recorded Music and Publishing in Benelux, will work closely with Jorn Heringa on A&R activities. The label will maintain its independent operation from WM Benelux, ensuring continuity in its creative direction.
Swart's journey with Spinnin' Records began in 2009 as a Royalties Manager, culminating in his role as Co-President in 2023. This change follows Roger De Graaf's departure in November 2024 after 25 years of service.
Simon Robson, President of EMEA Recorded Music at WMG, emphasizes this transition as an opportunity to strengthen connections between the label and Benelux's music businesses. Notably, Walboomers has already demonstrated his value by signing prominent DJs CYRIL and Mau P to WCM.
Founded in 1999 by Roger de Graaf and Eelko von Kooten, Spinnin' Records joined Warner Music Group in 2017. The label has been instrumental in launching the careers of electronic music giants including Afrojack, Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero, and Oliver Heldens.
The label maintains a powerful digital presence with over 31 million YouTube subscribers and nearly 4 million Instagram followers, solidifying its position as a leading force in electronic dance music.
