The acquisition brings together Splice, a leading music creation platform, with Spitfire Audio, renowned for their sound and sample libraries. Both companies will maintain their distinct identities, with Spitfire continuing to operate under its own brand and leadership.

Key aspects of the merger include:

  • New features launching in the next 6-9 months
  • Focus on deepening user workflow integration
  • Development of ethical AI components with fair artist compensation
  • Continuation of existing services and products

Splice CEO Kakul Srivastava emphasized the importance of providing users with more creative control while ensuring ethical AI implementation. The company already offers AI products like Splice Mic and plans to expand its AI-assisted toolkit.
