Spotify Removes Andrew Tate's 'Degree Course' Podcast After Widespread Backlash
Andrew Tate's podcast "Pimping Hoes" has been removed from Spotify following employee complaints and a petition with 92,000 signatures. The removal comes after previous de-platforming from YouTube and TikTok.

A Spotify spokesperson confirmed the content violated platform policies regarding dehumanizing statements about persons or groups. While this specific podcast was removed, other Tate content remains available on the platform, including material teaching men "how to get girls fast and easy."
The removal follows serious legal troubles for both Andrew and Tristan Tate, who face charges of human trafficking minors in Romania. The brothers allegedly used "loverboy" methods to exploit victims for online pornographic content, generating over $2.8 million in illegal proceeds according to Romania's DIICOT agency.
Spotify's content removal approach remains selective. For comparison, when R. Kelly was convicted in 2018, his music wasn't removed but rather stopped being actively promoted in playlists under the platform's "Hateful Conduct" policy.
