Tool's first-ever 'Tool Live in the Sand' destination festival has sparked controversy, with fans considering a class action lawsuit due to repeated setlists between performances. The three-day event was held at the Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The main issue stems from four songs being repeated across both nights: "Fear Inoculum," "Rosetta Stoned," "Pneuma," and "Jambi." Fans paid between $4,000 and $10,000 for what was promised to be two unique performances.

Law office of Stas Rusek is investigating a potential class action lawsuit against the festival organizers for breach of contract and misrepresentation. Attorney Stas Rusek, both a Tool fan and festival attendee, is seeking to represent disappointed concert-goers.
Neither Tool nor frontman Maynard James Keenan have addressed the controversy as they continue their first Latin American headlining tour, which includes stops in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Bogotá, and São Paulo.
