US Government Blasts Diddy's Racism Claims as 'Outrageous and Illogical'
The US government has formally responded to Sean "Diddy" Combs' accusations of racial discrimination, calling them "outrageous and illogical" in court documents filed on March 4.
The government firmly states that race played no role in the charges against Combs, which include sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Instead, they assert the indictment stems from "the defendant's decades of criminal conduct."

Combs' legal team previously filed a motion to dismiss the charges, particularly focusing on the Mann Act violation. They argued that no white person has ever been targeted with this law, which prohibits the transportation of women for sex. The defense claims Combs "has been singled out because he is a powerful Black man" and is being prosecuted for "conduct that regularly goes unpunished."
The defense also alleges that federal prosecutors have been leaking information to the media, claiming the government's handling of the case "demonstrates bias and animus" and plays on "racist tropes."
Government prosecutors had previously dismissed similar accusations during an October pre-trial hearing as "baseless," warning that such claims posed a "serious risk" to conducting a fair trial.
The trial is scheduled to begin on May 5, with Combs' team maintaining that all sexual activity between him and others was consensual.
