The 38-year-old artist has a history of generous fan donations, including a recent $30,000 gift to a pregnant fan at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena and $25,000 to two fans in Melbourne. Fan requests ranged from engagement rings to mortgage payments and veterinary bills.

The trend has sparked debate online, with critics questioning the appropriateness of concert attendees soliciting money from performers. Some argue that ticket costs could better serve these financial needs.

This increased wave of fan handouts comes amid Drake's ongoing controversy with Kendrick Lamar, following the latter's Super Bowl Halftime Show performance of "Not Like Us." Drake has filed a lawsuit against Universal Music Group (UMG) over the track's content, though Lamar is not named in the suit.
