Rapper 50 Cent has filed a $5 million lawsuit against celebrity jeweler TraxNYC for allegedly misusing his likeness to sell counterfeit chains. The lawsuit claims trademark infringement and violation of publicity rights after the jeweler posted TikTok videos suggesting an association with the rapper.

TraxNYC's owner, Maksud Trax Agadjani, posted multiple social media contents featuring 50 Cent wearing jewelry and even appeared to provoke the rapper, stating "We just jocked your style." Prior to the lawsuit, Curtis Jackson (50 Cent) warned the jeweler about legal consequences through social media.

The rapper's representative emphasized that Jackson takes unauthorized commercial use of his name and likeness very seriously. On Instagram, Jackson commented that the jeweler had copied his custom piece and was illegally using his likeness for sales.

Trax made a public appeal for forgiveness, but Jackson remained firm on pursuing legal action. The lawsuit, filed under case number 1:24-cv-07700Jackson v. Agadjani, seeks damages of no less than $5 million, to be determined at trial.
