Adidas Confirms Final Yeezy Inventory Sold, Closing Kanye West Chapter
Adidas has successfully sold all remaining Yeezy inventory, marking the definitive end of their partnership with Kanye West. "There is not one Yeezy shoe left," confirmed Adidas Chief Financial Officer Harm Ohlmeyer. "It has all been sold, and that episode is behind us."

The partnership, which began in 2013 and was valued at $1 billion, ended in late 2022 following West's antisemitic comments on social media. Adidas took a firm stance against hate speech, stating that West's actions violated their core values of diversity, inclusion, mutual respect, and fairness.
Throughout 2023 and most of 2024, Adidas experienced a 2% decline in US sales primarily due to reduced Yeezy sales. The company began liquidating its remaining stock in mid-2023, pledging to donate portions of the proceeds to organizations like the Anti-Defamation League to combat antisemitism.
The end of this partnership significantly impacted West's net worth, with Forbes reporting approximately $1.5 billion of his wealth was tied to the Adidas collaboration. While West continues to use the Yeezy brand name independently, including a controversial Super Bowl ad campaign, Adidas has now completely moved on from the partnership.
This marks a clean break for Adidas, allowing the company to focus on future initiatives while maintaining its commitment to combating hate speech and discrimination.
