Each episode culminates in a live performance before a Seoul-based audience, who determines the winning "K-popped" song. The show is executive produced by music industry veterans Lionel Richie and Miky Lee, alongside Megan Thee Stallion.
The production team includes Moira Ross, Greg Foster, Harry H.K. Shin, and Jake Hong, with Ki-woong producing for CJ ENM. Eureka Productions' team of Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, Wes Dening, and David Tibballs also serve as executive producers.
This marks Apple TV+'s second unscripted competition show, following their 2023 country music series "My Kind of Country." The platform previously explored K-pop content with their six-part docuseries "K-Pop Idols," which featured Blackswan, Cravity, and Jessi.
While the premiere date remains unannounced, co-host Megan Thee Stallion is scheduled to perform at the exclusive FanDuel/Spotify Super Bowl party alongside DJ Pee .Wee (Anderson .Paak) and Blink-182 on February 6.
