The fundraising concert will feature an impressive lineup of metal legends including Metallica, Anthrax, Gojira, Pantera, and Slayer. Ozzy, who has recently stepped back from performing due to health issues, will perform a short solo set before joining his former bandmates.

Sharon Osbourne confirmed this will be 76-year-old Ozzy's final concert, stating, "Ozzy didn't have a chance to say goodbye to his friends, to his fans, and he feels there's been no full stop. This is his full stop."

Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello will serve as musical director for what he calls "the greatest heavy metal show ever." The event will also feature a supergroup including Billy Corgan, Slash, Fred Durst, Wolfgang Van Halen, and others performing both Sabbath and Ozzy songs.

Additional performers include Alice in Chains, Halestorm, Lamb of God, and Mastodon. All proceeds will benefit Cure Parkinson's, Birmingham Children's Hospital, and Acorn Children's Hospice supported by Aston Villa.

Formed in Birmingham in 1968, Black Sabbath has sold over 75 million albums worldwide and pioneered the heavy metal genre. Tickets go on sale at 10 AM GMT on Friday, February 14 via Live Nation.

"It's my time to go Back to the Beginning... time for me to give back to the place where I was born," said Ozzy. "Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever."
