Bria specializes in image generation, offering text-to-image models, brand-specific generative products, editing tools, and AI-powered marketing solutions. What sets Bria apart is its "Multi-Modal Attribution Engine," which tracks training materials in its outputs and ensures proper compensation for creators.

The company currently partners with 30 data providers, including Getty Images and Freepix, maintaining a commitment to using 100% licensed data. This approach contrasts sharply with other AI companies, particularly in the music industry, where training compensation remains a contentious issue.

Bria founder Yair Adato announced plans to expand their patented attribution technology to music, video, and text generation, aiming to create a sustainable creative economy. This expansion comes as other companies make similar moves in the AI licensing space:

  • Sony Music led Vermillio's $16 million Series A
  • Musical AI received $1.5 million in pre-seed funding
  • Universal Music partnered with ProRata for per-use revenue sharing

This funding round follows Bria's $24 million Series A from approximately 13 months ago, demonstrating continued investor confidence in their licensed data approach to AI development.
