Delta Brings YouTube Premium and Music to New 4K Inflight Entertainment Screens
Delta Airlines is enhancing its inflight entertainment experience with the integration of YouTube Premium and YouTube Music, alongside new 4K screens. Starting in 2026, planes will be equipped with 4K HDR QLED screens, offering passengers access to ad-free content during their flights.

The upgrade includes Bluetooth connectivity for personal headphones across all cabins, and a "Do Not Disturb" feature for uninterrupted rest. Delta SkyMiles members will enjoy complimentary access to YouTube Premium and YouTube Music starting this year.
Additional improvements announced at CES 2025 include:
- Enhanced WiFi connectivity
- Content recommendation engine
- AI-powered "Delta Concierge" app feature
- Uber partnership for earning SkyMiles
- Plans for fuel-efficient aircraft development with Airbus
During Delta's 100th anniversary celebration at CES, CEO Ed Bastian emphasized the company's commitment to human-centered innovation: "New marvels like AI, the digital revolution and sustainable technology are giving us incredible tools to transform the travel experience, but amid the wonder of new technology, we've always understood that the entire point of innovation is to lift people up."
The presentation featured a virtual pilot training experience and a performance by Lenny Kravitz, highlighting Delta's vision for the future of air travel while commemorating its century-long history in aviation.
