Diddy Denied Bail, Faces Jail Time Ahead of Sex Trafficking Trial
Sean 'Diddy' Combs faces jail time after a federal judge denied his bail request following a major federal indictment. The hip-hop mogul pleaded not guilty to charges including racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The federal indictment accuses Diddy of decades-long abuse, threats, and coercion of women and others to fulfill his sexual desires while protecting his reputation. The charges stem from his arrest on September 16.
Attorney Marc Agninfilo defended Combs, stating he "voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges" and emphasized his client's cooperation with investigators. While acknowledging Combs's imperfections, Agninfilo maintains his client's innocence.
Diddy is currently held at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, notorious for its poor conditions including:
- Rat infestations
- Freezing temperatures during power outages
- Worm and maggot-infested food
- Frequent inmate attacks
The facility previously housed Ghislaine Maxwell during her sex-trafficking trial. Diddy is scheduled for a Manhattan federal court hearing to appeal his detention.
