Festival ticketing platform Festicket has secured $2.7 million in Series A funding, led by Wellington Partners and PROfounders Capital. Previous investors including Playfair Capital, Windcrest Partners, KIMA Ventures, and Jacques-Antoine Granjon also participated in this round, following their $680,000 seed funding contribution in 2013.

The company plans to use this investment to:

  • Accelerate international expansion, particularly in the U.S. market
  • Grow their team
  • Further develop their business model
  • Enhance their online booking platform

Currently, Festicket features only one U.S. festival on their platform - Atlanta's TomorrowWorld. The company aims to build new inspirational features and recommendation tools to help festival-goers discover new experiences, according to Co-Founder and CTO Jonathan Younes.

This funding represents a significant step in digitalizing the festival industry, enabling easier access to festival experiences through comprehensive online booking solutions.
