For the Philippines and Vietnam, these are their first-ever official, industry-backed music charts. In the Philippines' inaugural weekly chart, Dionela topped the rankings with "Marilag," while Vietnam's first chart was led by Dương Domic's "Mất Kết Nối." Notably, Vietnamese artists dominated their domestic chart, occupying eight of the top ten positions.

The charts will display the top 20 tracks weekly in each market, featuring both local and international artists. Data is collected from major streaming platforms including Apple Music, Deezer, Spotify, YouTube, and regional services like Langit Musik.

The initiative is managed by IFPI in collaboration with national industry bodies:

  • ASIRI (Indonesia)
  • RIM (Malaysia)
  • RIAS (Singapore)
  • TECA (Thailand)

Charts are compiled by BMAT following IFPI's global charts principles and methodologies. Shridhar Subramaniam, President of Asia and Middle East at Sony Music Entertainment and Chairman of the IFPI Asia Regional Executive Board, emphasizes that this unified platform will serve as a launchpad for regional artists while providing fans with a centralized hub to explore Southeast Asian music.

The existing charts in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand will be rebranded under this new official system, creating a comprehensive music tracking network across Southeast Asia.
