The rape lawsuit against Sean "Diddy" Combs and Jay-Z has been officially dismissed after the anonymous accuser voluntarily withdrew her claims stemming from an alleged 2000 incident.

Jay-Z celebrated the dismissal, calling the allegations "frivolous, fictitious, and appalling." His company, Roc Nation, maintained that the claims "never had merit and were nothing more than a fictional tale."

Attorney Tony Buzbee filed the dismissal with prejudice, meaning the case cannot be refiled. The accuser's credibility came into question after she admitted in a recent interview that "not all the facts are clear" and suggested possible misidentification of the accused.

Jay-Z's attorney, Alex Spiro, emphasized that his client "never settled, never paid a single red cent" and has been "completely cleared."

While this case has been resolved, Diddy continues to face significant legal challenges, including over 30 civil cases involving sexual misconduct and federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges. He remains in custody, denied bail three times, awaiting his trial scheduled for May 5, 2025.
