Live Nation Discontinues Popular 'Lawnie Pass' Program at US Amphitheaters
Live Nation has discontinued its popular 'Lawnie Pass' program at outdoor amphitheaters across the United States. The company announced the change via Instagram, promising "new and exciting programs" for the upcoming summer concert season.

The $239 Lawnie Pass previously offered multiple benefits including:
- Fast-lane entry access
- Personalized entry credential
- Free parking
- Unlimited lawn seating for approximately 25 concerts per season
This change comes alongside other recent modifications to Live Nation's concert experience:
- Mandatory $20 minimum parking fee (higher for Premier, VIP, and oversized vehicles)
- Ban on personal low-rise chairs, replaced by mandatory $15 venue chair rentals
The discontinuation follows Live Nation's pattern of using all-access passes to boost attendance at venues, then retiring them once numbers improve. Similar strategies were seen with their $59 Club Pass in 2022 and periodic $20 all-in tickets promotions.
Live Nation has stated that previous Lawnie Pass holders will be the first to learn about new offerings for the upcoming concert season. The company expressed gratitude to its "Lawnie community" and assured continued engagement with concertgoers for future shows.
