Madonna Faces Lawsuit Over 2-Hour Concert Delay at Barclays Center
Two Madonna fans from New York City are suing the singer and Live Nation after her December 13 Celebration Tour concert at Barclays Center started over two hours late. Michael Fellows and Jonathan Hadden purchased tickets for an 8:30 PM show, but Madonna didn't begin performing until after 10:45 PM.

The lawsuit alleges that the late start caused significant inconvenience, including:
- Limited public transportation options at 1 AM when the show ended
- Increased transportation costs
- Difficulty meeting work and family obligations the next day
The plaintiffs claim "unconscionable, unfair, and/or deceptive trade practices," arguing that the defendants knew the show wouldn't start at the advertised time. They note that Madonna's December 14 and 16 shows at the same venue also began approximately two hours late.
This isn't Madonna's first legal battle over late starts. During her 2019 Madame X tour:
- Florida resident Nate Hollander filed a lawsuit (later voluntarily dismissed)
- New York concertgoers Andrew Panos and Antonio Velotta sued and reached an unspecified settlement in July 2020

The current lawsuit seeks unspecified damages from Madonna, Live Nation, and the Barclays Center for breach of contract and deceptive practices.
