"Lift Every Voice and Sing" has been a Super Bowl tradition since 2020, with previous performers including Alicia Keys (2021), Mary Mary (2022), and Andra Day (2024). The song, written in 1899 by civil rights activist James Weldon as a celebration of President Lincoln's birthday, will be performed in ASL by Otis Jones IV.

The pre-game lineup also features:

  • Jon Batiste (New Orleans native) - "The Star-Spangled Banner"
  • Lauren Daigle (Louisiana native) - "America the Beautiful" alongside Trombone Shorty

"It's going to be a beautiful opportunity for us to showcase what New Orleans represents, and the culture, and the beauty of unity in music," Daigle shared with NOLA.com.

The Super Bowl LIX, featuring the Kansas City Chiefs versus the Philadelphia Eagles, will take place on February 9 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. Pre-game performances begin at 6:30 pm ET, broadcast on Fox and streaming on Fubo and Tubi.
