Notorious B.I.G.'s Catalog Sale May Leave Children Empty-Handed, Former Bad Boy Guard Claims
Gene Deal, a former bodyguard of Diddy and associate of The Notorious B.I.G., has raised concerns about the recent sale of Biggie's catalog, claiming the rapper's children won't benefit from the deal.

Deal alleges that Wayne Barrow and Mark Pitts, representatives of Biggie's estate, orchestrated the sale of the rapper's publishing and marketing rights shortly after the death of his mother, Voletta Wallace. The deal, reportedly worth between $100-150 million, is being negotiated with publisher Primary Wave.
According to Deal, these representatives were originally placed in their positions by Diddy following Biggie's death in 1997. "They are working out a deal for them," Deal stated in an interview with The Art of Dialogue. "It ain't for Miss Wallace, it ain't for Big's kids."
The Notorious B.I.G., born Christopher Wallace, left behind two children: T'yanna (born 1993) and Christopher Jr. (born 1996). The terms of the catalog sale and any potential benefits to Biggie's children remain unclear.
Deal also revealed that Voletta Wallace reportedly "never trusted" Diddy and avoided him at events, suggesting she harbored suspicions about his potential involvement in her son's death. The murder of The Notorious B.I.G. remains unsolved after nearly three decades.
