The 30-track album features an impressive lineup of collaborations with major artists:

  • Kendrick Lamar (on "Good Credit," "Mojo Jojo," and "backd00r")
  • Travis Scott (on "Crush," "Philly," and "Wake Up F1lthy")
  • The Weeknd (on "Rather Lie")
  • Future (on "Charge Dem Hoes a Fee" and "Trim")
  • Lil Uzi Vert (on "Jumpin" and "Twin Trim")
  • Young Thug and Ty Dolla $ign (on "We Need All Da Vibes")
  • Skepta (on "Toxic")

The album's release follows the success of its lead single "All Red," which reached #15 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #3 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Notable producers on the album include Cardo, Metro Boomin, Southside, F1lthy, Ye, Cash Cobain, and Ojivolta.

"MUSIC" marks Carti's first album release in five years, following his 2020 chart-topping "Whole Lotta Red." The artist is scheduled to headline Rolling Loud California, continuing his tradition of releasing new music just before major festival appearances, similar to his 2018 debut album "Die Lit" release before Rolling Loud Miami.
