Realize Music Partners with Universal & Warner for VR Self-Care Singing App

Realize Music Inc. has partnered with Universal Music Group (UMG) and Warner Music Group (WMG) to launch Realize Music: Sing, a VR self-care singing application launching exclusively on Meta Quest on January 23, 2025.

The app combines entertainment with wellness through immersive audio-visual experiences designed to reduce stress, promote relaxation, and release endorphins. Users can access over one million songs across all genres, with new music added weekly. The subscription will cost $9.99 monthly or $99 annually.

The company is led by video game producer Mike Wilson (Devolver Digital) and CEO Mark Roemer, alongside veterans from Sony, Meta, Rockstar Games, and Guitar Hero. Future versions are planned for Apple, Samsung, Sony PSVR2, mobile, PC/Mac, and Smart TV platforms.

According to Wilson, "Singing has perhaps the most well-documented physiological and psychological benefits in the burgeoning new science of music for wellness."

UMG's Senior VP Bryan Stone emphasizes their commitment to health and wellness platforms, while WMG's EVP Allan Coye highlights how this partnership creates new opportunities for artists to connect with fans through innovative experiences.
