Ronnie Scott's legendary jazz club will host its Musical Instrument Amnesty event on January 25, 2025, from 10 am to 3 pm at their Frith Street location in Soho, London. The initiative aims to collect unused musical instruments and donate them to children and young people participating in music programs in the UK and overseas.

Donors can bring their instruments directly to the club during the event. Each donated instrument receives a unique tracking number, allowing donors to follow their instrument's journey to its final destination. The club is currently accepting email inquiries about the event.

"We are delighted to bring this initiative back for another year, revitalizing instruments and providing young people in underserved communities the opportunity to develop their skills and realize their potential," says Ada Ologbosere, Head of the Ronnie Scott's Foundation.

Since its inception in 2015, the amnesty program has collected and distributed over 3,000 musical instruments to those in need. Initially an annual event, it transitioned to a bi-annual format following the COVID-19 pandemic interruption in 2020.

The initiative continues to be a cornerstone of the Ronnie Scott's Charitable Foundation's mission to support music education and create opportunities for young musicians.
