Tegan and Sara Force Warner Music Store Closure Over Massive Order Backlog
Tegan and Sara have temporarily shut down their Warner Music merchandise store due to significant order fulfillment issues. The duo cited a massive backlog affecting all Warner artist stores, with no clear timeline for shipping existing pre-orders.
The closure impacts pre-orders for their upcoming album "Hey, I'm Just Like You," along with merchandise including hoodies, t-shirts, and limited-edition cassette tapes. The album features recreated versions of demos they originally recorded as teenagers.

The duo announced plans to launch their own merchandise store to maintain better quality control. Their art director Emy has been responsible for creating unique in-house designs throughout their career.
Warner Music acknowledged the issues in a statement, saying they are "taking these customer service issues very seriously" and working with their fulfillment provider Direct Shot and other vendors to resolve the situation.
