Burke shared the news through an Instagram Reel, expressing that while the decision was bittersweet, the podcast experience had been one of the most rewarding chapters of her life. The podcast explored behind-the-scenes aspects of the NBC series, including professional dancer-celebrity relationships, showmances, and notable incidents like Artem Chigvintsev's domestic violence arrest.
Addressing potential misconceptions, Burke emphasized that the podcast was never intended to "take down" Dancing with the Stars, a show she credits with shaping her career. She encouraged listeners to review past episodes to understand her genuine intentions of sharing truthful stories and creating meaningful connections.
Burke's history with Dancing with the Stars spans from Season 2 in 2006 through Season 31's finale in November 2022. She also notably replaced Abby Lee Miller on ABC's Dance Moms in 2017.
"My heart has always been in the right place," Burke stated, thanking her supporters who stood by her during controversial moments. "Any negative perceptions about me in the headlines could not be further from the truth. This podcast was always about truth, connection, and storytelling — not taking anything down."
