Country Star Jimmie Allen's Label Suspends All Activity After Sexual Assault Claims
BBR Music Group has suspended country singer Jimmie Allen following sexual assault allegations from a former team member. The suspension was announced on May 11 after a lawsuit was filed in Tennessee civil court.
The lawsuit alleges that Allen committed sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment, sex trafficking, and caused emotional distress over an 18-month period. The accuser, who remains anonymous, is also suing Allen's former manager Ash Bowers and Wide Open Music.

The plaintiff claims Wide Open Music was negligent in assigning her to work with Allen, alleging they knew about his previous questionable behavior around women. Elizabeth Fegan, the plaintiff's attorney, states the company failed to protect her client during her first professional job after college.
Allen has denied the allegations, stating the relationship was consensual. Wide Open Music has confirmed they stopped working with Allen after learning of the accusations and has since transitioned out of artist management.
As a result of these allegations:
- BBR Music Group suspended all activity with Allen
- The Country Music Association removed him from the CMA Fest lineup at Nissan Stadium
- Wide Open Music terminated their professional relationship with the artist
