Malibu's prestigious Harbor Studios has been destroyed in the devastating Palisades Fire, as confirmed by owner Zach Brandon. The recording facility, which has hosted numerous high-profile artists including Drake, SZA, and Imagine Dragons, was among thousands of structures affected by the 17,000-acre blaze.

The studio, which officially opened to the public in 2022, offered comprehensive recording facilities alongside luxury amenities including:

  • On-site chef services
  • Movie room
  • Steam room and hot tub
  • Four-bedroom main house
  • Recently completed Zen Garden featuring a 40-foot retractable canopy
  • Tea bar and exercise area
  • Multiple ponds and waterfalls

Notable artists who recorded at Harbor Studios include:

  • Jack Harlow
  • Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
  • Doja Cat
  • 21 Savage
  • Tate McRae
  • Nicki Minaj
  • SZA
  • Jenna Raine

Despite the extensive damage, Brandon has announced plans to rebuild the facility. "This is not the end of Harbor," he stated on Instagram. "We are restarting from scratch (again)... nothing we haven't done before." Brandon plans to incorporate lessons learned from the original studio into the reconstruction, emphasizing that the studio's magic "is in the soil, it's in the air, and it's in our souls."

The rebuild is already in preliminary stages, with the original studio builder involved in planning the new facility. Brandon concluded his announcement with a message of resilience: "We will come back stronger from this."
