IMAX to Release 'One to One: John & Yoko' Documentary, Following Their Greenwich Village Years and Iconic MSG Concert
Premiering on April 11th in IMAX theaters, "One to One: John & Yoko" offers an intimate look at John Lennon and Yoko Ono's life in Greenwich Village during the early 1970s, following the Beatles' breakup in 1970.

The documentary, directed by Kevin MacDonald ("The Last King of Scotland"), features never-before-seen footage of the couple's time in New York City, including their small Greenwich Village apartment life and their historic 1972 "One to One" benefit concert at Madison Square Garden – Lennon's only full-length concert after leaving the Beatles.
The film captures the couple's transformation during their American experience, showing how they absorbed U.S. culture through television, witnessing events like the Vietnam War, Nixon's presidency, and popular entertainment of the era. Their exposure to American media, including a Geraldo Rivera exposé, ultimately inspired the Madison Square Garden benefit concert.
Shot in a meticulous recreation of their NYC apartment, the documentary provides new perspectives on this pivotal period in the artists' lives. The project features music production by Sean Ono Lennon, John and Yoko's son, who serves as executive producer.
Following its IMAX premiere on April 11th, the film will receive a wider release one week later through Magnolia Pictures.
