Kenny Chesney Makes History as First Country Star to Headline Las Vegas Sphere
Kenny Chesney will make history as the first country artist to perform at Las Vegas' Sphere, announcing a 12-show residency beginning Memorial Day weekend 2025.
The innovative venue caught Chesney's attention after he witnessed U2's residency performance, particularly impressed by its 4D technology and advanced sound systems. "When we started talking about all of the possibilities playing Sphere offered, I was all in," Chesney told People, emphasizing how the technology will enhance the experience for his fans, known as No Shoes Nation.

The announcement follows earlier hints on social media, where the venue shared a video featuring a beach scene with waves washing up to a blue chair, guitar, and cowboy hat - iconic symbols associated with Chesney's brand.
The 18,600-seat venue has previously hosted successful residencies by U2, Dead & Company, Phish, and the Eagles. Tickets will be available starting January 31 at 10 AM PT, with VIP packages available for early access.
