Meta is aggressively recruiting TikTok influencers to boost Instagram Reels' presence in the short-form video market, offering substantial monthly payments ranging from $2,500 to $50,000.

The payment structure is organized into five tiers:

• Tier 1: $50,000 per month
• Tier 2: $25,000 per month
• Tier 3: $15,000 per month
• Tier 4: $5,000 per month
• Tier 5: $2,500 per month

Contract requirements include:

• Posting 10+ new, exclusive Reels monthly
• 3-month content exclusivity to Instagram
• Videos must be 15 seconds to 3 minutes long
• 25% more content on Reels than other platforms
• Converting two Reels monthly into Instagram Stories
• Bi-monthly promotion of Instagram Reels on their primary platform

Meta is primarily targeting creators with over one million TikTok followers. One notable offer included $300,000 for six months of content creation. However, some influencers and managers have criticized the deals, calling them "cheugy" and difficult to manage due to strict posting requirements.

The initiative comes amid ongoing uncertainty surrounding TikTok's future in the United States, with the app currently unavailable in U.S. app stores and discussions of potential U.S. ownership continuing.
