Mahmoud Felfel, PlayAI's co-founder and CEO and former WhatsApp software engineer, sees "speech as an interface" as a massive opportunity. The company plans to use the funding to enhance its platform and accelerate development of human-quality speech experiences for businesses.
Kindred founder Steve Jang has joined PlayAI as a board observer. The investment reflects the rapid evolution of the AI sector, particularly in voice technology applications.
