Shopify has removed Yeezy.com from its platform after the site attempted to sell merchandise featuring Nazi symbols. The ecommerce platform confirmed the removal, stating the merchant violated their terms of service and failed to engage in authentic commerce practices.

The controversial merchandise included a t-shirt featuring a black 45-degree tilted swastika, labeled as 'HH-01' - a reference to 'Heil Hitler.' This occurred shortly after Kanye West posted several antisemitic statements on X/Twitter, including praise for Hitler and other offensive remarks.

The Anti-Defamation League condemned West's actions, noting that his previous antisemitic statements in 2022 were linked to 30 documented antisemitic incidents nationwide. They described his recent behavior as "a flagrant and unequivocal display of hate."

Before any potential platform ban could be implemented, West deactivated his X/Twitter account. Shopify's terms of service explicitly state they reserve the right to restrict products or activities deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or offensive, though they didn't specify which exact rules were violated in this case.

The entire incident follows a pattern of controversial behavior from West, who was previously banned from Twitter in 2022 for antisemitic statements before being reinstated under Elon Musk's ownership of the platform.
