The second annual event will showcase multiple artists who gained popularity through the platform. Larsson, known for her collaboration "Symphony" with Clean Bandit (which has generated 800,000 TikTok posts), will lead the performances.
The festival will stream globally on TikTok Live, with red carpet coverage by creators Sarel and Arnaldo Mangini. Notable performers include Mexican artist Anndrea Torres, TikTok's Most Inspiring Award winner Fiaa Hamilton, and popular street performer Jourdan Blue.
Adam Wang, TikTok Live's head, emphasizes how the platform enables real-time engagement between creators and their audiences. The event aims to showcase the community's creativity and provide creators with new ways to connect with fans.
This event comes at a crucial time for TikTok, as the platform faces a January 19 deadline to be sold or face a U.S. ban. Many creators are preparing for potential platform changes by migrating their content to other platforms like YouTube and Instagram. President-elect Donald Trump, previously supporting the ban, has recently requested the Supreme Court delay its implementation to seek a "political resolution" before his January 20 inauguration.
