The story follows an overprotective father (Wilson) who secretly takes his 13-year-old son to the Rolling Loud festival, leading to a series of misadventures with his co-worker (Rife) and an eccentric festival volunteer as they navigate crowds and security.
Jeremy Garelick serves as both writer and director for the film, which is being produced by Live Nation Productions and American High. The production team includes Garelick and Will Phelps for American High, Stella Bulochnikov for Pat Solitano Productions, and Jolene and Doug Banker for Five All in the Fifth.
Wilson recently made a cameo during Travis Scott's Rolling Loud performance for a scene in the film. He's fresh off the second season of Disney+'s "Loki" and is set to star in an upcoming Apple series about a veteran pro golfer, scheduled for 2025.
Rife, who is currently on his sold-out "Stay Golden Tour" including stops at Madison Square Garden, recently published his memoir "Your Mom's Gonna Love Me," which has become a New York Times bestseller.
The film, handled by UTA Independent Film Group for worldwide distribution, is slated for release next year.
